These tables are wonderfuly made. I did research and looked for days and this is the best buy. They look very expensive. Great price. The color of the top of the tables look dark in the picture but they are the same color as the rest of the table. Expresso is usually considered really dark but these have a slight red tent to them which I love. Cherry finishes are sometimes to red. I needed something in the middle and this is great!! Hope this helps.

I bought this to use as a place to put a lamp at the entrance of my living room. It really doesn't look as attractive as it did on line; however, it does meet my needs. The "grain" of the top of the unit looks like parquet, but not sure that it is. Still, I can live with it. Regarding the assembly, this was done by myself, an "old woman, " and two grandkids: 6 and 9 years old. Everything went fairly well until it was time to install the the lower shelf. That presented a bit of an issue, but we finally figured out our errors, with the the help of the six year old and her flashlight, telling us we where were going wrong. End result is not a bad product but nothing very fancy. The only really negative issue with this product that I want to share is that there was an extremely strong, unpleasant odor from the unit, which I assumed was from the product itself. It has since disappeared. But for the price, actually not a bad deal.

The table is very nice it came quite quickly and was easy to put together. However the top of it isn't as pictured. I was expecting it to be a different darker color on the top, and a much shinier finish, almost like marble or glass as pictured. However it's the same color from top to bottom but still nice
