Especially for You began in 1982 and was rooted in one woman's love for antiques. Mona Zelienka commissioned reproductions from a local Amish community in her Wisconsin town to sell at local crafters sales. By 1984 Mona's husband, Jack, was on board and the two took their business to the next level, moving their products to the national wholesale trade. As their garage and storage sheds began to fill with product, Jack and Mona vowed never to forget their focus on quality and price. By the 1990s, Especially for You had grown from a few hundred products to over 700 products, until a devastating fire in 1996 ravaged the factory and the entire shipping complex. With the help of State Legislators and the Governor's office, a new complex was soon erected. Since that fateful day, sales have tripled, giving Central Wisconsin a true economic lift.
In the new millennium, Especially for You is looking forward to success with the emergence of their two distinct styles in their Home Collection. Contemporary designs are predominantly manufactured in Ash while Maple is used for the transitional designs. It's a designer friendly line with over 20 finishes, and it's known for high design, high quality and high value.
