Each compartment has a cord/wire management hole in the back, so hooking up and moving electronics has never been easier.


Constructed with a solid birch wood frame in a lustrous white finish, this console table bookcase has strong, durable engineered wood (MDF) shelves and compartment dividers in a matching white finish. The genuine wood veneer top has a richly grained dark oak finish for a fresh look. The sides of the unit have a modern X design that adds an artistic element to the table's sturdy structure. In fact, the Hampton Console Table Bookcase is so sturdy it can be stacked up to two units high. Image depicted shows 2 units stacked, this item is for purchase of 1 unit. Recommendation is not to stack more than 2 units. Assembly required.

    Great Piece!!! I just wish the screws would fit on the front top panel... i left them out because they were too short- the piece is still sturdy, i just have to find longer screws.

        The unit is attractive and functional and good value for the price.
        It is made to serve either as a bookcase or media console.
        For this reason, the shelves are a bit deeper than usual bookshelves, and there are holes in the back of the unit for wires and cables.
        It does not look like "fine" furniture, but is fine for an informal room setting.

            Need clarification of placement (better illustrations of which direction parts layout. ex-top/bottom or front/back which is which) for assembly. Had difficulty knowing which was back until already assembled, then had to take it apart and reverse the placement of top and bottom so they faced the correct way.
