I bought this table to go in my living room in front of a love seat. It is the perfect size. I also chose this one because of the additional storage with the 2 drawers and bottom shelf. Plus the price was right!
My only con is regards to the assembly instructions. This may not be an issue for someone more experienced, but I am a novice! Assembly can be tricky and time consuming if the bottom shelf and legs and bolts aren't assembled in a certain order. Some trial & error to get this right.

My father was a carpenter and a furniture maker and I asked him about beechwood and told me that is good for coffee like tables. I bought it because of its height and solid beechwood. I found out that the top has bad paint stains and that is not a solid beechwood piece and that the second shelf is made out of engineer wood. It would be a hassle to return it and that's why I kept it. I am quite disappoint it...

The table looks great and is a perfect fit for where we needed it to go, however one of the legs was substantially shorter than the others. We were able to get it fixed, but still not what I would expect to have to deal with. Without that issue I would have given it 5 stars.

This is a great piece for the money. It surpassed my expectations. My husband put it together in no time (and he is not exactly handy). If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that my cat's white hair sticks to it very easily, so I am constantly cleaning the top of it. (But, this is really my cat's fault and I chose the darker wood color).
