Love these tables. I bought the coffee table, two end tables and the entertainment center for my living room. The color of the wood is definitely a little darker than the pictures show. More of a warm dark brown. I think the lighting and the gray walls and rug in the pictures make the wood look more washed out than in person. But I actually love the color and it worked out better for my room anyways. The pieces were very easy to assemble. Originally the top of the coffee table had a huge scratch in it but I called customer service and they sent me a completely new table and I donated the other one to a local charity.

There are more "knots" showing in the wood grain than I expected but the color was true to my expectations. It has a strong wood smell fresh out of the box, comes in 4 pieces, 8 pieces of hardware and the tool to put together. No instructions, but not difficult, just make sure to put the bottom shelf in place BEFORE attaching both end pieces or you'll have to take one end back off to get the shelf into place. Here's another tip....assemble upside down (may not be obvious to everyone).

Decorative and beautiful coffee table, but it's not as steady and durable as I hoped. Also scratches easily. Not ideal for families with young children.

For the price, this table does exactly what it's supposed to do... it's 3x cheaper than anything else out there, b/c the quality isn't great, but more importantly, the COMPLETELY hollowed out panels make it feel very weak - watch out putting any weight on it. Also, it's VERY BIG. Expected something a bit smaller, but it's very large in the living room.
