My wife does a lot of crafting and other work in the living room. I was tired of the TV trays and this table lifts to various heights and locks to a dining height making it easier to use. It has ample storage to move the projects out of sight when they aren't needed. I was going to build a coffee table but the lift mechanism alone is $200 at the woodworking stores or on line.
The table is heavy because it has to support the table when raised, but it slides easily across our hardwood floor. It is made of MDF with real oak wood veneer (not plastic) and has solid wood legs. The finsih is light weight and may scratch easily.
I have had the table for a week and so far I think its a better table than those that I found in furniture stores for over twice as much.

First, it meets my needs, there are not a lot of choices for this type of table, so I'll keep it. It was packaged well. But the quality of the top finish is average with some unevenness to the surface. A higher priced table might be a better choice. After a few uses several screws pulled from the top. These screws fasten it to the flip mechanism. They were too short. I replaced every screw in the mechanism with 3/8" longer screws.
Without anything stored inside it is tippy. We added books which settled it down, But you have to be careful about placement of things to keep clearance from the mechanism which comes down into the storage area.
The color is a close match to the pictures on line.

I visited a number of furniture stores to find lift top tables for $400, $500, and more and then they all have a $50+ delivery fee. This price made me wonder about the value, but it wasn't needed. This table is great!

We enjoy eating in the den and were using tv trays but we enjoy sharing so this makes it so nice and convenient.

Q1: How much weight can this table hold?
A: The distributed load capacity is 245 lbs. When the top is lifted the load capacity is about 66 lbs.
