The hubby and I combed store after store trying to find a lift top, dark finish, attractively designed, and reasonably priced set - but I kept coming back to this set so I finally ordered it (I tend to shy away from items that have not been reviewed). [...] I absolutely loved the set and just did not want to send it back for a replacement. [...] Upon inspection, my husband said that he could fix the table, and because the damage was underneath, it would not affect the appearance. Hayneedle was more than cooperative in giving us a discounted price on the set for our inconvenience and time. I have purchased a number of items from this site and will continue to do so as I feel their customer service is exceptional. Oh, and the set is absolutely wonderful and you just cannot beat the price!
